The Art of Daily Ritual

by Casea Rose of FORMA Collective

What was the first thing you did when you woke up this morning?

The first 20 minutes after you wake up are some of the most important moments in your day. These moments hold the keys to how the rest of your day will unfold.

When we wake up, our brains are in the brainwave states of alpha and theta, the states of calm, receptivity and creative attunement. This is the time when intuition is heightened, and natural insight is at its most pure. It’s here in this subtle space where the bridge between you and your subconscious mind is most accessible.

Your brainwave states are operating at the optimal frequency for visualizing and actualizing what you most deeply desire in life first thing in the morning.

When we look at our calendars, emails, social media, and messages immediately after waking up, our minds quickly move into the more alert brainwave state of beta, bypassing the crucial time needed for your brain to be in a state of wakeful relaxation.

It can be so hard to resist the call of outward duties and responsibilities, but when we set aside even a few minutes each day to be in this powerful and subtle space, infinite magic can unfold.

The art of building a personal, daily morning ritual is a simple but profound tool in transforming our lives to create a deeper sense of creativity and personal power. Committing to devotion to self allows you to own your morning and ultimately the direction of your life.

Throughout my life I’ve felt the incredible benefits of daily practice in every aspect of my life, from my sensuality to my self confidence; but last year I was experiencing so much resistance to staying consistent. I was going through a deeply challenging time - a separation from a partner and the death of my father - and knew that grounding into the present moment each morning was imperative for healing. It was through a deep devotion to exploring my inner landscapes while being held accountable by a group of friends that Collective Practice was born.

We hold seasonal, 40-day cohorts committing to our daily morning practice with friends and friends-of-friends. Building habits is hard, but it’s easier to do with friends.

Since our inception last year, Collective Practice has grown into a powerful, intergenerational community from all over the world. We create healthy, life-changing habits together through daily practice and accountability, while cultivating a safe space of compassionate self-inquiry and play.

The best news is, we are launching our fourth cohort on April 4th and there are a few spaces left for members of the Catori tribe to join us.

Your Morning Ritual Journey

The secret to our future lies in our daily habits. The actions we repeat everyday inform our relationships, health, character, career, and ultimately our happiness.

In Collective Practice, you will design your own morning practice that you can do on your own time. Throughout the 40 days we will be supported by accountability systems, guided practices, journal prompts, live workshops with masters, and other wisdom tools such as teachings of the medicine wheel, the neuroscience of mindfulness, and tools to attune more deeply to the rhythm of the planets and the seasons.

We have a diverse and intergenerational group of seasoned facilitators to guide us and offer practices that are not widely accessible to the public. It’s a huge gift to have them sharing their work so intimately with us.

Why 40 days?

40 day journeys have appeared for thousands of years in ancient texts and yogic philosophy, often signifying periods of great transformation. Similar to a journey of alchemy, after 40 days you will have fired up new signaling on a cellular level for new habits to begin solidifying.

This cohort is designed to be easily integrated into your daily life and is open to all - whether you have experience and existing practices or not.

Sign ups close April 2, or when we reach capacity. Space is very limited to keep the quality and intimacy of the experience at its best.
