If one lives with their brain bowing in service to their heart, then they are able to make decisions that are in harmony, connection, respect, and reverence to all beings. If one lives with their brain in service to only their mind, they continually create a world of suffering, selfishness and destruction.

At day fourteen, held within the dark watery depths of the womb, in the center of the embryo, a streak of light emerges.

We must learn to build the capacity in our nervous systems to be able to be with all that has happened to us in our lives. This is the journey of coming home — to this body, this breath, this heart. Every chance we get, this is where we must start.
