Ritual for the Full Moon
Ritual | To the Four Directions
Begin this ritual with a bath and a 15 min meditation. Alternate nostril breath is also recommended. This is an altar ritual working with the four directions, and will work with the elements and your connection to them through the stellar placements. Place a bowl of water to the West, A knife to south, Candle (white) to the east, and a red flower to the north.
Get clear on your intentions, you will be infusing them into each object. This ritual will work through the elemental intelligence from the subtle aspects. As you infuse your intention into each object it is important to bring aspects of self and higher ideals into the ritual.
To the east: Infuse any aspect of self or life that you would like to illuminate. Inner gifts, dharma, confidence. When you have allocated an intention recite: " To the powers of the East, I honor the guidance and wisdom of the powers of the East. Through this light, I awakened my.... ( or I awaken the power for...). Thank you for supporting this illumination.
To the south: Infuse any aspect of self or life that you would like to bloom to rise or can be used to heal as an honoring/releasing. When you have allocated an intention recite: " To the powers of the South, I honor the guidance and wisdom of the powers of the South. Through this flower, I awakened my.... (or I release and honor .... to nourish the next phase). Thank you for supporting this growth.
To the west: Infuse any aspect of self or life that you would like to purify or nourish. This should grow an aspect that is already known, or to unite/draw in for greater embodiment. When you have allocated an intention recite: " To the powers of the West, I honor the guidance and wisdom of the powers of the West. Through this water, I purify my.... ( or I cleanse my senses, desire body to align to the power for...). Thank you for supporting this purification.
To the north: Infuse any aspect of self or life that you would like to cut away or need more clarity/inner direction. This should be for clarity within self, actions, or direction based on heart or higher understanding. You can gain clarity by cutting away with gratitude aspects that no longer serve. When you have allocated an intention recite: " To the powers of the North, I honor the guidance and wisdom of the powers of the North. Through this knife, I cut away delusion from my embodiment, my higher goals, and my inner wisdom..... ( or I call in clarity with, to support my embodiment and higher self). Thank you for supporting this clarity and direction.
